Thursday, Feb 27, 2025 at 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM CET

BCG, J.C. Jacobsens Gade 12, Copenhagen, Copenhagen, 1799, Denmark.

United Nations Security Council sanctions are the only sanctions applicable in all countries world-wide, yet they are often not understood as well as European Union, United States and United Kingdom sanctions. With the Danish government beginning a two-year rotation on the United Nations Security Council starting 1 January 2025, join us for our first of several informative 2025 events to hear the Danish government’s positions on sanctions policy in the United Nations Security Council. The event will also give attendees an opportunity to better understand how sanctions policy is made in the United Nations Security Council.

15:20 - 15:40: Introduction from BCG, Welcome from ACSS, and Chapter Update from Denmark Chapter Chair - Jeff Nielsen, Ramboll
