Please join us for a presentation by ARLA, WaterNow, and One Water Economics on their recent report to the Metropolitan Water District, Advancing Resilience through Distributed Stormwater Capture and Conservation.
This presentation and discussion will focus on a roadmap for MWD, and other agencies, to create and fund more equitable and robust incentives for true landscape transformation on private properties. MWD is at a crossroads right now, including decisions around their business model and if/how they should move toward being a water manager, not just a water importer. This report will highlight the watershed modeling and cost-benefit data leading to the recommendations for MWD to scale distributed stormwater capture and conservation as a core part of their water supply and business model.
