Join us to explore the soil with Dr. Nicholaus Madden as he walks us through the soil profile with some soil pits! This free, hands-on educational event is perfect for curious minds ages 6–12, but everyone is welcome to attend! Whether you're a young explorer or just young at heart, come get your hands dirty and learn with us!

Parental/guardian attendance encouraged. Snacks and beverages provided!

The Napa County Young Farmers and Ranchers are hard-working agricultural professionals between the ages of 18 - 35 and are an integral part of the Napa Farm Bureau. As a volunteer run non-profit, we aim to empower others to actively participate in agriculture advocacy, promotion, and education while developing leadership skills. Throughout the year we partner with school groups for Ag in the Classroom and volunteer for a non-profit farm that donates to the local food bank.
