Hey mama,
Let's go to one of my favorite walking spots (the Chalmette National Cemetery), move our bodies, enjoy chatting with other moms, and let our littles get their energy out before bedtime! We'll meet at 4:30PM, chat for a bit, begin walking by 4:45PM, and conclude by 5:30PM.
If you've never been to the Cemetery before, it's mostly shaded but I'd still encourage you to bring a hat/sunscreen if it's sunny. There isn't much traffic, but cars do pass occasionally. If you're letting your child ride their bike/scooter or walk independently, just be aware that cars may pass us.
We'll do two back and forth stretches which is approximately 45 minutes of walking depending on our pace.
PARKING: there are a few spots at the front entrance before you come in the gates. If those are full, continue driving until you see a small parking lot next to the welcome building. If those spots are full as well, parallel park along the street where it widens.
