9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance!

The 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance is long standing tradition at Montclair State University that honors the lives lost and heroic acts of September 11, 2001. Our volunteers commemorate the day through meaningful service projects that foster unity, civic responsibility, leadership, and often inspire long-term community engagement.
Come join us for a day of giving back!

Volunteers will have the opportunity to choose from 20+ service sites, both on and off campus, and engage in community service projects such as:

  • 🍎 Meal distribution and food pantry support
  • 🌳 Park and neighborhood cleanups
  • 🎨 Community revitalization
  • ✨ Activities for youth, seniors, and adults with disabilities
  • 🧼 Assembling hygiene and snack kits
