On behalf of the VACAPAF Leadership Team, I invite you to join us at the 80th Virginia Association of Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (VACAPAF) Convention. We will convene this event on November 10-12, 2022 at the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, Curio Collection by Hilton in Roanoke, Virginia. This year’s theme is “One Fraternity, One District, One Brotherhood: To synthesize and sustain a legacy of excellence.”
As a District, we are continuing to grow and build eminent goodwill in the communities we serve. We embrace the principles that govern our organization, and the programs that enrich the community at large. Since 1943, the Virginia Association of Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has promoted our organization's mission to develop leaders, promote brotherhood, academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities.
Attendees can look forward to a hybrid, three-day convention with the following:
- an innovative public engagement program,
- focused business sessions,
- fraternal training,
- college brother’s competitions,
- career fair,
- ladies program,
- an array of vendors,
- celebratory Black and Gold Awards gala
We will be voting on the new officers for 2023-2024 at this convention. We will also have the opportunity to possibly hear from the General President candidates. Most of all, we will have the opportunities to engage, meet, and collaborate with brothers. The conference will begin with a community visit and a public program on Thursday evening and end on Saturday evening.
