Join us for weekday mom walk & talk sponsored by Always Be Organized in Allegheny Commons West Park!
WALK EVENT DETAILS:
We will meet at the George Washington Monument (located just inside the park at W North Ave & Sherman Ave) at 10am. Once everyone has arrived and checked-in with your walk host, we will then head out on our walk through the Allegheny Commons West Park, around Lake Elizabeth and back to the Monument. We will do this loop twice for a total distance of 1 mile. We will then head back to the greenspace near the lake for coffee and our sponsored talk!
HOME ORGANIZING TALK & BOOK SWAP:
We have partnered with Amanda Haider from Always Be Organized to lead a fun and engaging conversation on a topic we could probably all benefit from: Home Organizing & Toy Rotation!
Amanda is a professional home organizer, who believes that a clutter-free space leads to a clutter-free mind. It isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about feeling good in your space.
Following Amanda's talk, we will do a fun little book swap for the kids! Bring a gently used book that your little ones are ready to part with and swap it for a new-to-you book from another mama. Any books not collected at the end will be donated to a local organization.
REFRESHMENTS:
We will also have XO Espresso on site with their bottled lattes and lemonades to enjoy during/after the walk. The bottles are $5 each and payable by cash or card.
PARKING:
Paid parking is available along W North Ave, and in the surrounding parking lots nearby at The National Aviary.
Bring your kiddos, a picnic blanket, strollers, water and sunscreen, and get ready to grow your village, meeting other local mamas and their families.
REGISTRATION:
Our walks are always free for everyone. However, we ask that you register for this event to confirm your attendance and allow event organizers to notify you of any changes. Please register only for yourself (do not include your children in the number of attendees).
Walks, events, and our community are open to all moms: moms-to-be, bonus moms, newborn moms, toddler moms, big kid moms, and more. Everyone is always welcome!
