We are excited to invite you to an inaugural 5-session, author-led book study of Pedagogies of Voice: Street Data and the Path to Student Agency (Corwin, 2025). You will have opportunities to join an international movement toward student-centered liberatory education while digging into two chapters per session in dialogue with the authors Shane Safir, Marlo Bagsik, Sawsan Jaber, and Crystal Watson. This interactive learning space will give you a behind-the-curtain look at the formation of this transformative framework and a pathway toward implementation of a Pedagogy of Voice.

Session 1 (Sample Outcomes):
- Explore what we mean by “student voice” and “student agency”
- Walk away with an understanding of the PoV Agency framework and choosing the margins
- Reflect on the historical purposes of education and the current implications
- Feel a sense of possibility and responsibility for change
- Feel part of a collective working toward liberatory learning spaces
