The symposium will bring together researchers, students and partners from across Africa and beyond to explore the role of microbiomes in health, agriculture and the environment. The theme is designed to highlight the importance of engagement, networking, and collaborative efforts that connect microbiome research with industry, policy-makers, and the public, while also showcasing microbiome research that allows integrates data across sectors and methodologies.
We invite submissions from all areas of microbiome research, including human, environmental, animal, computational, and social sciences. We particularly encourage African-led research that highlights collaboration, integration across methodologies or sectors, community engagement, and translation.
