OVERVIEW

We will try to accommodate everyone as much as possible with making sure you try to play other conferences for your games at the Jamboree at your level.  This means some of you will have only 3 games and others will have 4 due to the non-conference match-ups that exists.  For those who sign on late, you will notice that you may be bouncing around to different fields. This is because we have to find open fields with teams that you could play you on.  The early bird gets the worm in this case with less field movement for their next game.  For those who have questions about weights, I have included a age and weight chart from everyone's respective conference that is participating.

BEHAVIOR
There will be security on hand throughout the entire day.  I also ask that all of you understand that these jamboree games are just scrimmages and that we approach it in the manner to help all the kids get better.  So, let's try to keep our composure out there when it comes to talking to our kids, our parents, and other coaches and teams. There is no winner or loser at these jamboree games, just the ability to get some work in.  All coaches should bring their whistles as these are controlled scrimmages by the coaches which makes this event cost effective. It is important that you stress to your team that they are to only play through the whistle.  It is in the best interest of all coaches to not debate plays (Out of bounds, fumble, pass interference, etc) for the sake of time of your scrimmage.  Games will stop at their designated time.

CONCESSIONS & PARKING
Please make sure that you convey to your parents that will be attending, that there will be no grilling on high school property.  We will have concessions open as well as some satellite concessions near the field of play as well.  There will be a ton of parking to hold this event as we are expecting a very large crowd.

GAME FORMATS & FIELDS
All fields for the day will be marked accordingly.  There will be 9 half fields of play going on throughout the day. Every game will consist of a rotation of the first 12 minutest of play on offense and defense of both teams.  Every game will consist of 25 minutes.  All games will cease at the end of the 25 minutes.  You will then have 5 minutes to move to the next field to begin your next game if one is listed for you.  So, it is very important for you or other coaches to make sure you are maximizing your time during your scrimmage and not debate many of your objections.  All games will end and start on time as we have a ton of teams being represented.

EQUIPMENT CHECK
It will be at the head coaches discretion to make sure that their team is properly equipped with mouthpiece and pads.  Those who are not properly equipped will be asked to be removed from the field of play.

There will be medical personnel available at the jamboree should anyone need assistance.
