This gathering marks the formal launch of the Southwest Florida Healthspan Partnership, the evolution of FGCU’s Shady Rest Institute on Positive Aging, and the beginning of a shared regional commitment that we can only achieve by coming together.

During this kickoff, we will introduce:

• The Southwest Florida Healthspan Partnership and why it exists
• A bold, measurable regional goal for improving Healthspan across generations
• An overview of the work already underway and the insights it has generated
• Florida Gulf Coast University’s Shady Rest Institute on Positive Aging, and how research, community leadership, and systems change intersect
• A common framework for working together across systems to improve Healthspan
