The world of technical rescue is constantly evolving, and so is the equipment and techniques used in the field. This 16 hour hands-on course is designed to introduce rescuers to modern rope rescue hardware, updated system designs, and advanced techniques that improve efficiency, safety, and operational effectiveness.
Students will work with current-generation equipment including mechanical devices, progress-capture systems, modern lowering and raising systems, and artificial high directional applications. The course begins with foundational concepts and progressively builds into more advanced systems and problem-solving scenarios, ensuring participants develop both confidence and competence throughout the program.
Whether you're looking to refresh your skills, become familiar with equipment that has emerged in recent years, or simply stay current with industry best practices, this class is an excellent opportunity to expand your rope rescue knowledge. Participants will gain valuable experience operating modern systems while learning the strengths, limitations, and practical applications of today's rescue tools and techniques.
To maximize learning, enrollment is intentionally limited. This allows for extensive hands-on participation, individualized instruction, and plenty of time operating equipment rather than simply watching demonstrations.
If you haven't kept up with the latest advancements in rope rescue-or just want to sharpen your skills with modern equipment and techniques-this class is for you.
