Empowering Hospice Aides Through Accessible, On-Demand Education

The NPHI Hospice Aide Education Pilot Program is affordable, scalable, and accessible professional development for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) and Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs). Delivered asynchronously by education efforts at our partner, Samaritan, and using their LMS platform, this program supports aides in building confidence, competence, and connection to their work - anytime, anywhere.

Number of Registrations

To determine how many registrations to purchase for your organization, please enter the number of FTEs you have budgeted for CNAs/CHHAs for 2026. Each organization should also have one program facilitator who will act as the liaison between NPHI/Samaritan and the Hospice Aides.

Coordinator/Facilitator Role

  • Set up participating aides in Samaritan LMS
  • Track course completion and certificates via reports provided by Samaritan LMS
  • Act as liaison/troubleshooter between NPHI/Samaritan and aides
