Daniel is a Senior Systems Analyst at APCO International, a global leader in public safety communications (aka, 9-1-1). APCO provides professional development, standards, and advocacy for more than 60,000 public safety communication officials, serving a membership of over 40,000. Before joining APCO, Daniel worked as a freelance graphic designer, gaining foundational experience in HTML and CSS. 

    In late 2008, Daniel was introduced to NetForum Enterprise as a Member Services Coordinator. Soon after, he transitioned to a new department as a Systems Coordinator in Knowledge Management, where he honed his skills in content management systems (CMS) and began working with SQL, using tools like SSMS for more in-depth troubleshooting and development. Over the years, Daniel became one of the go-to experts at APCO for resolving complex issues and brainstorming new features, contributing significantly to the organization’s training, maintenance, and customization of Netforum and connected systems.

Matt has been on the board of the netFORUM Users Group since 2006, first serving as the treasurer before becoming president in 2009.  His day job is as a software engineer supporting NetForum at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) since 2006.  Prior to that he worked at Avectra in various positions including Director of Customer Support and Consulting Director.

Lacy is an experienced IT professional with nearly 20 years in the industry, including extensive work with netFORUM and enterprise systems. She currently manages a team of software developers focused on building custom applications that meet complex business needs. With a deep understanding of both legacy and modern technologies, Lacy brings a thoughtful, solutions-driven approach to every project she leads.

Ron McGrath, CEO and Co-founder of HighRoad Solutions leads a team of smart digital marketers and technologists to help associations get more out of their marketing technology stack. With more than 25 years of technical expertise, his vision for a productized way to extract data sets from any association management system and move them into HubSpot has revolutionized the way in which associations can build personalized member experiences and meaningful customer journeys. Providing strategy, data activation services, and integration solutions creates a perfect partnership between marketing and technology. While Ron may solve technical problems, he never forgets he’s solving problems for humans - this sensitivity and empathy is what sets him apart from other leaders.

Conor serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Higher Logic. Conor has spent the past two decades building influential companies where he designed and managed internet scale platforms. He developed his in-depth knowledge implementing emerging technologies and leading multiple successful M&A activities as an executive at startups, enterprises, consulting organizations, as well as with various branches of the military and intelligence community.  He sits on investment and grant boards of multiple funds and teaches Entrepreneurship courses on product development at The University of Virginia.

Most recently Conor was the CTO at Cloud Generation and the Fractional CTO of Association Analytics. In the past, he served as a Network Security Engineer with BBN Technologies, the organization that architected the Internet and first email technologies.

Conor has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and an MBA from the University of Virginia. In his free time outside of ushering in the future of WEB2 & WEB3 technologies, Conor is bouncing around wrangling a house full of kids he refers to as his wild animals.

Ryan Rice joined Momentive Software in 2014 as a Software Engineer, specializing in NetForum Enterprise implementation, consulting, software development, and technical training. He served as a technical lead and solution architect for multiple AMS implementation and post-implementation projects. Previously, he worked as a senior web developer at Two Men and a Truck and as a team leader at Dominion Systems, a payroll company. He holds a BA in Telecommunications from Michigan State University.

Karine has worked in associations for over 20 years, always very close to data. She has worked with multiple AMS and specifically with NetForum for over 12 years. Besides NetForum, her team manages all aspects of customer data: collection, management, governance, integration, visualization, analysis. She enjoys long walks outside and audiobooks. A self-avowed data nerd, she relaxes by working on complex data sets.

Talented and accomplished IT Management professional with strong background in application architecture, web application development, pattern discovery, and meta-data driven application design. Proven ability to manage successful teams, programs, and projects. Able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical persons. Expertise coordinating technical activities to meet business requirements. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Brittany Carter is a seasoned specialized publishing and media leader with over 18 years of experience in developing innovative information services, data and events tailored to the needs of associations. She currently serves as the President and CEO of Association TRENDS, CEO Update, and Bumblebee Data, where she is dedicated to delivering high-quality information, training, and guidance to empower association leaders. 

She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business. She also serves as the co-Chair of Renewd’s Advisory Board and was named Rising Star by the Software & Information Industry Association. Outside of her professional life, she is an avid traveler, amateur furniture builder, and dedicated dog rescuer. She resides in Arlington, Virginia, with her husband and their spirited red-headed daughter.
