Critical Recognition: Life-Threatening Adverse Drug Events in Acute Care

Brandon Quiring has been a paramedic at LifeNet in Stillwater since 2011.

“I became a paramedic to help people in the worst moments of their lives when they are unable to help themselves,” he said. “I enjoy the stories that I get to hear from patients about the lives they have had.”

For others considering a career in EMS, Brandon offers this advice: “Always remember that there are no small jobs in EMS, it doesn’t work without everyone. And also treat people the way you want to be treated.”

When Brandon isn’t at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, Oklahoma State athletics, and spending time at the lake.
