On behalf of VA Northern Indiana Health Care System and our Community Partners, we would like to invite you to participate in our 2022 Mental Health Summit.
The purpose of the Mental Health Summit is to enhance the mental health and well-being of Veterans and their family members through increased collaboration between the VA and the community. Our goal is to engage in active dialogue on how we as a community can address the mental healthcare needs of Veterans and their families.
Family members are important in developing a comprehensive plan of care and should be included in each Veteran’s total plan of care. Providing care and support to family members is equally important to each Veteran’s comprehensive plan of care.
The objectives/topics of this year’s discussion at the Mental Health Summits will be focused on suicide prevention, and increasing access to mental health care. We will additionally continue conversations from previous years to build upon the collaborations created.
This event will provide education, resources and networking opportunities for those in attendance. CEU's will also be available.
The summit will be held on Friday, September 2nd from 9:00am-2:00pm, with registration from 8:30am-9:00am at the Mirro Center for Research and Innovation in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
We are excited for this upcoming summit and hope you can join us for this special event.
