Gerry has been with the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury, Division of State Audit, since January 1995. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). As the Technical Manager, he is primarily responsible for monitoring GASB, FASB, AICPA, OMB, and GAO accounting, auditing, and compliance standards relating to financial statement and financial-related audits. He reviews financial statement audits for adherence to the above principles and standards, as well as to AICPA and GAO auditing standards. He is responsible for responding to all due process documents of the above standard setters, as applicable. He serves as a representative of the National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers, and Treasurers (NASACT) by observing and writing an account of the GASB meetings. He currently serves on the AGA National Governing Board (NGB) as AGA National President. He was the Nashville AGA Chapter President for the 2006-07 program year. He served on AGA’s Professional Certification Board (PCB) for seven years (2007-2014) and as the Chair of the PCB for four of those years. He was also a member of AGA’s National Executive Committee (now NGB) as a result of being the PCB Chair. He served on AGA’s Governance Committee July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2019, and as Chair for the 2017-18 program year. He served as AGA’s Southeast Regional Vice President (RVP) during the 2015-16 program year and as a result served on AGA’s national Nominating Committee. He has a BA degree in accounting with a German minor from Murray State University (MSU) in Murray, KY. He is a 1994 graduate of MSU. He is married to Melissa Boaz. He enjoys playing golf.

Keith Tresh is the Chief Information Security Officer for the State of Idaho, Information Technology Services. Keith is an experienced Military and public sector cybersecurity professional. He has over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity and almost 30 years of experience in information technology. A retired Army colonel, Mr. Tresh was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown on October 6, 2016 as the commander of the California cybersecurity integration center (Cal-CSIC) within the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services where he served until November of 2018. Prior to his appointment as the commander of Cal-CSIC he was the chief information officer at the California High – Speed Rail Authority. Keith is a veteran C-level IT management professional with a passion for teaching and cybersecurity awareness. From 2014 to 2016 Keith was assigned as the chief information security officer (CISO) for the County of Orange, California. In 2011, Governor Brown appointed him to serve as California’s chief information security officer and director of the Office of Information Security (OIS) at the California Technology Agency. Prior to this appointment, Keith was the CIO/J6 for the California National Guard. Keith Tresh served in the Army and the California National Guard (CNG) for more than 33 years including a combat tour in Iraq from 2005-2006. He holds a Master of Science degree in national security and strategic studies from the United States Army War College and a Master of Science in computer information systems from the University of Phoenix.

Paul is a principal for CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) in the firm’s Denver area office locations. Paul serves as the Western regional leader for CLA’s national public sector group, bringing an uncommon perspective and insight to the clients’ audit engagement teams. Paul is licensed to practice as a certified public accountant in Colorado. Paul has been in public accounting for 23 years and all his experience has been with governmental and nonprofit clients. He was a partner with a firm in California and joined CLA in 2006. Governmental clients include cities and towns, school districts, counties, higher education institutions, state departments, and a variety of special districts. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University. He is a member of the Colorado Government Finance Officer’s Association (CGFOA), Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Paul is a national instructor in CLA’s firm-wide training program. His instruction is focused on governmental accounting, audit methodology, and Single Audit requirements. Paul is also a frequent speaker at GFOA, CGFO, and numerous other events.

Michael is the Chief of the Bureau of Administration at Idaho Department of Fish & Game, in charge of oversight for all administrative functions of the $125M dedicated fund agency. Over the past three years, he played a key role in securing $8M in municipal bonds to construct a new regional office for the department and a $20M municipal bond to demolish and construct new departmental headquarters. Under his leadership, his team procured a new statewide licensing system that successfully went live on November 1, 2020, and negotiated savings of over $1M for the department’s budget. Michael Pearson was just confirmed as National Treasurer-elect for AGA, a national organization that connects and empowers financial related professionals who support government. His term starts on July 1, 2022.

Colonel Kedrick Wills joined the Idaho State Police in 1996. ISP is a statewide, full service law enforcement agency. During his 25 years with ISP, he has served in a variety of assignments throughout our state with increasing responsibility including patrol, executive protection, investigations, and forensics. In 2017, Idaho Governor Butch Otter appointed him to serve as the ISP Director. He was promoted to Colonel and accepted command of the organization on July 2, 2017. In January 2019, newly elected Governor Brad Little appointed him to remain in the same position and he was confirmed by the Idaho Senate that same year. Colonel Wills is a graduate of the Naval Post Graduate School’s Homeland Security Executive Leaders Program, as well as a proud graduate of the 232nd Session of the FBI National Academy. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Training and Development degrees from Idaho State University. In addition to his service with ISP, Colonel Wills has taught classes in leadership and organizational culture at the university level for eight years. He is fluent in Spanish and continues to teach, speak, and consult throughout the United States and abroad in both the private and public sectors. Colonel Wills was raised in Glenns Ferry, Idaho, and served as a trooper in the Burley/Rupert area for nearly seven years. He also served as the Captain of the Magic Valley Area for about 3 ½ years. His passion is assisting others to see the full impact of reaching their potential and providing leaders with the necessary skills in both areas of leadership and organizational culture to be successful.
