Anna Wilson
Director, M&As and Workforce Transformation
Uber
Anna is currently heading up the M&A People team at Uber, where she landed through the Postmates acquisition in 2020. Having had first hand experience of the complex integration into Uber, it became apparent how much impact a M&A People focused team would have on future acquisitions and the overall integration strategy. Inspired by the challenge, Anna has been busy building this team from the ground up and establishing playbooks and processes along the way. Since then the team has been busy with acquisitions such as HK Taxi, Cornershop, Transplace, Drizly and Car Next Door across multiple regions and industries. Before her adventure at Uber, Anna was the Head of People Business Partners at Postmates, where she supported the transformation of the HR organization and grew her People Business Partner team and their capability from the ground up. Before moving to the Bay Area in 2018 with her husband and son, Anna has lived and worked in London, where she has completed her Masters in HRM and supported OpenTable & KAYAK teams in various global HR capacities.
