2020 Tucson Taser Training

First, you will complete the online Taser training on Canvas, then attend in-person training with the Taser.

Message from Trooper Navar regarding the training:

2020 Annual Taser recertification is upon us; however, it has been pushed out at the last minute due to COVID-19. Supervisors shall ensure all personnel complete the CANVAS online training (8-10 minutes max to complete) prior to attending their cartridge deployment. Currently we are short on Taser batteries and there is a pending shipment and we don't have many extras. 

The training will be held in the GIITEM classroom at the Tucson 103. The dates are as follows: 12/3 and 12/4 from 0800 to 1800 hours and on 12/10 and 12/11 from 1400 to 0000 hours. Please wear your face masks and download all weapons except your Taser and gun belt. All Taser issues will be addressed during this training. There will be no make up dates available so please make sure you attend. Please limit 6 personnel per hour to attend.
