The 2019 National Reading Recovery and Early Literacy Conference is a premier learning event sponsored by the Canadian Institute of Reading Recovery. The theme for the 2019 confernece is: Changing Worlds - Literacy Learning for Each Child.
As a significant professional development opportunity for Early Literacy and Reading Recovery trained educators this event is second to none. For two days you will engage with keynote speakers such as Dr. Sue Duncan and Dr. Mary Anne Doyle, learn from colleagues around the country in workshops and network with others who are involved in early literacy education.
Early Literacy Exhibitor Trade Show: There will be approximately 25-30 publishing vendors also on-site who will be able to provide your classroom with books and other learning aids. Get items for yourself and your classroom right from the source!

Cancellation policy We know that things come up and your plans to attend this conference may change. You are welcome to transfer your registration to another person - please send an email to Donna Jean (donnajean@rrcanada.org) or call 416-908-7711. This will ensure that we know who is attending so they have a nametag and any dietary needs. There is no charge to transfer your registration to someone else. To cancel your registration, you will receive a refund less a $50 admin fee. Cancellations received less than one week prior to the event will not be refunded. Please note, in the event of harsh weather on the day of the conference we will make every attempt to go ahead with the conference, even if your school is closed due to weather we are expecting that you will attend the conference. If roads are closed and impassable such that you cannot get to the conference we will provide a credit to a future conference, less the $50 admin fee.
