BADGER IDPA – October 2017
 
The next Badger IDPA match is coming up Saturday, October 21st, 2017. The match is being held at Schultz Resort Rod & Gun Club in Muskego, WI.  Setup and range preparation will start at 7:30am.  Registration will begin at 9:00am.  The Safety Briefing will be at 9:45am and shooting will start at 10:00am.  All shooters must attend the safety briefing to be able to shoot. Eye and ear protection are mandatory for anyone on the range, shooter or observer.
 
The match fee is $16 for Badger IDPA members, $21 for non-members and $10 for staff if you register online.  
Walk-on match fee is $20 for Badger IDPA members and $25 for non-members.
 
 
COURSES OF FIRE
This match consists of 8 stages, all with a Halloween theme.  Expect to be scared! The minimum round count is 134.  A concealment garment is required.  
 
 
NEW SHOOTERS
The new Shooter Briefing is mandatory for all shooters without a current national IDPA membership or if you have not shot an IDPA match previously. We will re-arrange the pre-match schedule to hold the new Shooter Briefing prior to the standard Safety Briefing. If a shooter without a current IDPA membership number does not attend the new Shooter Briefing they will not be allowed to participate in the match. As always, all shooters must also attend the Safety Briefing in order to participate in the match. Of course the new Shooter Briefing is always open to anyone looking for a refresher, as well as any observers wanting to learn more about our sport.

SECRETARY'S MESSAGE
Badger IDPA will have our annual election at this match.  If you are a Badger member who has attended at least four Badger matches since last October, you are eligible to vote. If you will not be present at the match and wish to vote, please contact me at idpa_tom@comcast.net to receive a PDF ballot form. Ballot forms must be received by midnight on 10/21/2017.
 
The current club raffle is for a Palmetto State Armory 9mm Glock-Compatible Carbine. Tickets are $10ea or 3/$25, limited to 108 tickets.
