Spring is the time of year in the Teton Mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyoming when the newborn elk, bison, antelope, moose and grizzly bears are just beginning to discover life with their moms.
It's also the time of year when wildflowers are everywhere throughout the valley and in the surrounding mountains. Streams from the melting snow cascade down the steep mountain sides to numerous lakes that reflect the passing clouds in the bluest of skies.
The wetlands have numerous varieties of birds including trumpeter swans, Canadian geese and Sandhill cranes.
This is the setting for the spring time workshop dedicated to capturing these awe inspiring landscapes.
Finally, starting a couple of hours before midnight, you will be taken out to areas to photograph the Milky Way in the night sky to include historic turn of the 20th century barns and the Mormon Row home then on to various lakeside sites.
As an expert guide, I will ensure you have the best experience photographing this beautiful area.

WORKSHOP INCLUDES
4-DAY PHOTO WORKSHOP WITH MILKY WAY NIGHT SKY PHOTOGRAPY AFTER SUNSET **
Workshop date: June 19-23, 2017
The hotel meet and greet will be on the late afternoon of June 19 at 6pm at the Calicao Italian restaurant at 2560 Moose Wilson Road.
WORKSHOP INCLUDES: sunrise-to-sunset photography, three Milky Way night sky photography workshops and Photoshop CC 2017 & Lightroom Milky Way post-processing sessions.
What is not included: airfare, lodging and meals, transportation from/to airport/hotel on arrival & departure dates, any expenses outside the direct daily conduct of the in progress photo workshop. ** Milky Way night sky workshops are conducted each night of the 4 day workshop, except the last day ... participation is voluntary.
TIP: Speaking about lodging, hotel rooms fill up fast for the June-July time frame so if you are going, you need to check to see if can obtain hotel reservations first.

Don't let the start time scare you. We leave early so that we can have everyone in the workshop group in position for the best blue hour light and sunrise light. You'll return home with amazing photos and lifetime memories.

Workshop cancellation information
Any cancellation 90 days prior to first day of the workshop of June 20, your registation fee minus $150.00 cancellation fee is refunded.
If a cancellation is made less than 90 days prior to June 20, the start of the workshop, there is no refund. In this case, your submitted workshp fee may be applied to any future photography workshop the workshop guide conducts.
Should you cancel before the workshop begins but you find a replacement, your workshop fee will be refunded in full minus USPS Priority Mail shippings costs. No swapping of slots and payments are allowed.
It is suggested that attendees purchase some kind of trip insurance in the event one has to cancel workshop attendance. By registering/signing up for this workshop, you agree to these cancellation conditions.

Was a fabulous three days shooting the beautiful Jackson Hole area at the peak of the wildflower season in July 2011. Jerry definitely knows the best spots to photograph with excellent angles and his supreme knowledge of the area. Many of his favorite spots are off the beaten path. Just recently I went to Jackson Hole Wyoming and met up with Jerry for a three day photographic tour of the area.
