TETRA and GTRI will host the Session 4 multi-day UNCLASSIFIED virtual Cognitive EW T&E working group on 14-15 October 2020 and 18th Nov 2020 via online Webex sessions. Please contact workshop POCs if you have any questions.
The Classified In-person Session originally scheduled for Oct 2020 is now To Be Determined (TBD) and will be re-scheduled as soon as possible pending DoD COVID-19 travel restrictions.
Department of Defense (DoD) Test & Evaluation Threat Resource Activity (TETRA) and Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) cordially invite you to the 1st Annual Joint EW T&E Working Group. The sessions focus on Cognitive EW T&E. The four virtual events in summer and fall 2020 (June, July, August, and October/November 2020) will be UNCLASSIFIED. The classified in-person event (TBD) will be up to U.S. SECRET.
These sessions will bring together leadership and subject matter experts from across the DoD, academic and industry T&E communities to discuss specific critical issues affecting Cognitive EW testing. The premise of the workshop is to apply commercial industry AI/ML testing experiences to the DoD EW T&E process and develop recommendations for specific DoD Cog EW programs and DoD T&E organizations to assist their T&E efforts. Discussions will drive an out brief to DOD decision makers.

Session #1: Commercial AI/ML Systems Lessons Learned -
17-18 Jun 20 - COMPLETE
Objective: Gain an understanding of commercial practices unique to AI/ML Systems
Presentations: Various commercial entities on their experiences testing AI/ML systems
Product: Develop a list of unique testing elements for AI/ML systems based on commercial industry experience
Session #2: Cognitive EW Systems
8-9 July 2020 - COMPLETE
Objective: Gain an understanding of sample notional Cognitive EW system types
Presentations: Cognitive EW System SMEs detailing aspects of various notional Cognitive EW systems and what makes them unique
Product: Develop a list of unique cognitive elements for EW and their respective test needs
Session #3: Legacy EW T&E
19-20 Aug 2020 - COMPLETE
Objective: Gain an understanding current methodologies for testing traditional EW Systems
Presentations: Various DoD methods and guidelines for testing EW
Product: Develop a summary of relevant EW T&E legacy EW T&E processes
Session #4A:
14 - 15 Oct 2020 - COMPLETE
Objective: Collect Detailed Data for key gap areas identified in Sessions 1-3.
Presentations: Speakers addressing key gap areas (M&S, LVC, Cognitive Radar, Continuous T&E).
Product: Working groups will develop detailed recommendations addressing gaps.

Product: Develop a classified white paper for specific programs and organizations with recommendations for conducting Cognitive EW T&E
