Bunny's 16”X20” Drag Acrylic Pour Painting Class
We’re still in the grip of the winter weather so why not try a new acrylic pour creation? For the first time, Bunny is teaching a new technique – “drag” – in a larger canvas size: 16”X20”. Don’t let this frighten you, Bunny will demonstrate this technique and walk you through the process. In the end, you will have a large, wall size canvas creation you’ll be proud to hang in your home. So get a group together, or sign up for a class on your own. This may be your first time – which is great – or you may be one of many who have been in Bunny’s classes in the past. This 90+ minute class allow you to bring the brilliance of acrylic pouring to a larger format. The beauty of acrylic pour painting is that you won't be asked to "draw" or recreate a scene or object. Everything is Provided
Everything is provided for you to create your original canvas, ready to hang on the wall or put on an easel. Although we supply aprons and gloves, Bunny suggests you wear old clothing since there may be paint spatters. The cost for this fun class - with everything included - is just $35. Bunny is a Great Teacher - Small Class Size
Bunny teaches small classes of up to eight (8) students. This allows her to work closely with everyone, offering guidance, suggestions, and answering questions. And you will have questions, so feel free to ask away!
She starts out with an overview of the process with lots of tips and tricks. Then she'll do technique demonstrations...so you'll have an idea what you would like to try.
Then it's time to "get to work"
Once you've heard about the process and seen Bunny demonstrate - it's time to pick your paint colors, put on your apron and get creative! This is where the fun really begins. Bunny knows you'll be a little apprehensive, but she'll be right there to help you through every step of the process - from instructing you on how to mix your paint correctly, to that final tip of the canvas.
Miscellaneous info
Parking: Bunny's studio is in her home in south Fargo and there is room for two cars in her double driveway and plenty of parking on both sides of the street in front of her home.
Stairs: Since Bunny's studio is in the lower level of her home, there are stairs to navigate. Her apologies to those who have difficulty climbing stairs.
Cat Allergy? If you are allergic to cats, we have three. They sometimes wander around the painting class, so please be aware. If you are only slightly allergic, let Bunny know and we will close them off upstairs away from the class.
Kids Welcome: Kids, ages 11 and older, are welcome. We've had good luck with kids, as they show natural curiosity and creativity without worrying so much about the outcomes. We do ask there be an adult with "kid groups."
Hearts Must Dry
Since acrylic paint takes several days to properly dry, you'll have to leave your canvas with Bunny for about a week. After your canvas is dry, Bunny will apply a glossy coating (at no extra cost). She will contact you when your c anvas is ready to be picked up.
