Felicia was born in Detroit, Michigan. Raised by a single mother, her strong views on life, education, family, and socioeconomics were shaped at a very early age. After her mother's death in 1987, she enrolled at Henry Ford Comm College, graduating in 1992 with an Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy. Driven to live more purposefully, Felicia returned to school 20 years later at the age of 39 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014. A natural creative with an undying spirit for entrepreneurship, Felicia launched her 1st business, Adore Bagg, while attending nursing school and her 2nd business, a health education service, in 2017. In 2018, disturbed by the state of healthcare, Felicia founded Nursing Detroit, a community network for MI healthcare workers. On a mission to influence the culture of healthcare, in 2019 she began a summer youth training program for young Detroiters, where she introduces her participants to the world of nursing and prepares them for entry into the healthcare industry. In 2020, Felicia resigned from bedside care to focus on growing The Nursing Detroit Pre- Apprenticeship Program, expanding the Nursing Detroit footprint through training, mentorship, talent development, and helping more healthcare workers transition to entrepreneurship as a life redesign strategy. To date, Felicia has built two businesses, three profitable brands, secured multiple contracts with the City of Detroit creating 7 streams of income and counting.

Imana (MO) EL Minard is the Director of Nursing for the Emergency Centers, 5 North Med Surg, 4 North, Nursing Resource Pool, Vascular Access, & and Hemodialysis Liaison for Beaumont Farmington Hills. In addition, she is Clinical Faculty for University of Michigan Flint School of Nursing for the course Nursing Leadership & Management. Mo was identified as a Nursing Leader to Watch in 2020 by the New Era Group for her passion for positivity and creating rainbows with glitter to empower others. Her passion to touch audiences of all walks of life has been her constant internal motivator. In Spring of 2022, she was honored by the Detroit News as a "Michiganian of the Year" for her work with patients and families during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Mo is an award-winning radio host, producer, and engineer at WHFR 89.3 FM. Prior to the COVID 19 Pandemic, her weekly show MO-tivation Nation aimed to uplift, inspire, empower, and encourage others through stories & music. She can’t wait to return to the airwaves! Mo is the proud mother of 2 children, 1 husband, and 2 dogs. In her spare time, if there is ever any, she dedicates it to her family.

Nicole Darby is a Registered Nurse with 15 years experience in med surg, ambulatory clinic, and travel nursing; Highly motivated to make a difference in nursing, she moved into nursing leadership after only 7 years into her nursing career. After 8 years in management, Nicole took a leap of faith and resigned from her nurse leadership role in search of a lifestyle that would give her more time with her son. Known as a trailblazer in the kidney care community, TK is the founder of Ann Cook Dialysis Center; the facility is named after her grandmother and was inspired by her grandfather who died of complications of kidney failure. TK came up with the concept of the “Ann Cook Method” from always feeling inadequate as a dialysis nurse. She spent her entire dialysis career advocating on behalf of her residents for better meals, better therapies, better equipment, and better ratios. At Ann Cook, TK’s team creates a home away from home for all patients, providing kidney care through a holistic approach, considering mental and social factors. TK’s commitment is “...to do all we can to break down any barriers standing in our way to providing our residents the best care possible, and helping them to live their best lives possible, as healthy as possible, for as long as possible.” TK aims to make a difference in the lives of individuals suffering from End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) by advocating for their dignity and providing safe, quality care.
