AzSEA held its Fall Seminar on Halloween at the Desert Willow Conference Center. Bradley Burnett was the scheduled keynote presenter. Three days prior to the seminar, Bradley called us to let us know that there was a critical medical emergency in his family. AzSEA suggested that he not fly from Kansas to Phoenix for the seminar, but rather stay in Kansas and be there for the family. Bradley agreed that he could make up the sessions through a live webinar, which we have now scheduled for December 15, from Noon to about 5:30.

For more information, please continue reading……

Bradley Burnett, the Explicator of All Things ERC, will cover the full gamut of what ERC is, and who is eligible, but isn’t it too late to file a claim, and why Congress and IRS are so concerned about ERC, and what does the IRS intend to do about it. And, of course, Bradley will discuss the role of the tax professional. This session will provide 3 hours of CPE.

Bradley will also talk about AI and ChatGPT. You may have heard about ChatGPT, but you aren’t sure what it does, but it’s kinda like magic, which could save you time and make you some money as you help your clients. But then Bradley will tell us about how ChatGPT seems to “hallucinate” as it is creating stunning prose, which you will then send to IRS on behalf of your clients. Perhaps there are some ethical issues to be considered before you jump on the ChatGPT train. Bradley will identify the “Skills Set” needed to successfully utilize ChatGPT. This session is designed to provide 2 hours of Ethics.

If you registered and paid for the Fall Seminar, you will attend this webinar at no extra cost. You will attend, answer sufficient polling questions, and qualify for your CPE. AzSEA thanks you for your understanding.

If you had not registered for the Fall seminar, but would like to attend this webinar, this can work well for you. Attend the webinar, answer the polling questions, and receive CPE.

AzSEA intends to record the webinar. If you cannot attend on the 15th, AzSEA will attempt to make available the recorded copy for streaming for paid attendees. For those who view the streamed webinar, you will be able to complete a written test with content-based questions, and return the exam by December 22. It will be graded, and if you answer 60% of the questions correctly, you will be awarded CPE.

There will be a separate $60 fee for administration of the written test.

 Happy Holidays
