To make this happen we have built a brand-new conditional logic feature within the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventzilla.net\/event-registration-form\">custom registration form setup page<\/a>. First of all, there\u2019s no programming knowledge necessary to use this feature. &nbsp;If you\u2019ve ever created rules for your email, then you\u2019ll be really comfortable with our interface.<br> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How conditional logic works<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It lets you\nperform two actions if a condition is true. You can either&nbsp;<strong>SHOW<\/strong>&nbsp;a\nfield to the user or&nbsp;<strong>HIDE<\/strong>&nbsp;a field from the user based on the\nvalue of another field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>For <strong><em>Example <\/em><\/strong>\u2013 <em>If you are planning a corporate event provided with lunch, you can ask your attendees about their food preference (Veg or Non-veg). Based on their initial answer, you can now conditionally display sub-questions to collect specific details. In this example, when someone chooses Non-veg, you can conditionally display Meat, Fish, and Chicken as options to choose from.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Availability<\/strong>:<\/em><strong><br><\/strong>For paid events, this feature is available with the PRO plan. If you are Basic plan user, simply upgrade under account settings.<br> <br> For free events, this feature is available with premium bundle plan. You will see an option to get a quote for the premium bundle with the conditional logic page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here are the steps to add conditional logic to your event\nregistration page<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1<\/strong>: Go to Events Manage Page then click on <strong>Customize Registration <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"261\" height=\"196\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eventzilla.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/event1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1640\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2<\/strong>: Next, you will find this option called to <strong>collect information from<\/strong>. <br> <br> You have to either select buyer only or all attendees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"628\" height=\"75\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eventzilla.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/event-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1641\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Buyer Only: By selecting this option, you can able to\ncollect the information from a person who purchases the ticket.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>All Attendees: Choose this option to collect the\ninformation from ease person who is attending the event. If a ticket purchaser\nselects this option then he\/she has to fill out the information on behalf of\neach person (attendee) who is going to attend the event.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3<\/strong>: Now, click on the <strong>add custom question button<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"344\" height=\"100\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eventzilla.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/event3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1642\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you can view a pop-up box\nwith different <strong>question types<\/strong> which\ninclude Small Text Box, Large Textbox, File Upload, Radio Button, Checkboxes,\ndropdown, and waiver. You can choose any one of these options based on your\nrequirements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Example<\/strong>: If you want to give multiple answering options for attendees then you will have to choose options like Radio Button, Checkboxes or dropdown.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"742\" height=\"522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eventzilla.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/new.png\" alt=\"Event Registration Software\" class=\"wp-image-1657\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Add Custom Questions <\/strong>to\ncollect the required information from attendees. <br>\n<br>\nClick in the field under \u201cquestion\u201d to enter your custom question<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"721\" height=\"107\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eventzilla.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/event7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1644\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have selected the question\ntype as radio button, checkbox or drop down, you can <strong>add multiple options<\/strong> for your attendees to answer by clicking <strong>add another options button<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"702\" height=\"180\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eventzilla.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/event8.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1645\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use below-mentioned\noptions if you want to collect the information from <strong>specific ticket type<\/strong>(s) only or <strong>sharing the information to attendees<\/strong> while sending a confirmation\nmail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"128\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eventzilla.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/event9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1646\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: This is optional<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your question has multiple choice\nof answers, tick on the <strong>\u201cadd conditional\nsub-questions\u201d <\/strong>field to add a question based on the attendee\u2019s choice of\nanswer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example<\/strong>: If XYZ\nevent has created a custom question as \u201cAre you interested in purchasing our\nofficial merchandise t-shirt?\u201d with Yes &amp; No options, they can create a sub-question\nto show the t-shirt sizes available if the attendee chooses Yes option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"725\" height=\"479\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eventzilla.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/event10.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1647\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Tip: Avoid asking too many questions as there is a chance\nthat your attendees may leave the page without registering.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Final step: <\/strong>Save the custom question by clicking the save button.
