Submission guidelines
The Southwest Region invites all Graduate and Undergraduate members, nursing faculty, and nursing students to submit abstracts that showcase innovative programs, projects, or technological advances related to health promotion/disease prevention, leadership development, mentoring, recruitment, retention, and scholarship.
Podium Presentation: All podium presentations will be done in-person. Podium presentations are allotted a 25-minute time slot,followed by a 5-minute question and answer session. Presentations focused on similar topics will be presentedback-to-back followed by a 10-minute question and answer session for all presentations. During thepresentations, presenters are provided with a laptop computer and LCD projector.
Poster Presentation: Poster presentations will be presented virtually. Poster presenters will have the option to upload a short videosummarizing their poster. All posters should be oriented in portrait format.
Podium and Poster Presentation Objectives:
- To describe strategies on advancing health equity through sustainable change.
- To increase knowledge, promote collaboration/partnerships, and demonstrate the quality of workperformed by the membership in “Service for Humanity”.
