Event Description

Please join us at Western Carolina University for a one-day training on Monday, April 7th featuring L. Worth Bolton, ACSW, LCAS, CCS of UNC Chapel Hill's School of Social Work as he presents:


  • Integrated Care and Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT)
  • The Film "The Anonymous People" by Greg Williams
  • Recovery Oriented Systems of Care


Six hours of substance abuse specific credit hours have been applied for through the NC Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board.  This event is open to all students, persons with lived experience, prevention specialists, treatment & recovery providers, and stakeholders.  The event is at no cost, but space is limited and you must register to attend.  Lunch will be provided.  Due to limited space, if you have registered but cannot attend, we will need notification at least 5 days prior to the event so that your slot can be offered to another interested party.
