The Disciplines of Engineering Career Fair (DECaF), established in 1998, is the only annual student-managed multidisciplinary career fair at the University of California, San Diego. This event provides company representatives a unique opportunity to interact and engage with UCSD's talented engineering students regarding career options, internships, and permanent or summer employment opportunities. Open exclusively to UCSD students and alumni, DECaF is coordinated by the Triton Engineering Student Council and over 20 pre-professional engineering student organizations at the Jacobs School of Engineering. These engineering societies, representing the spectrum of disciplines at the Jacobs School, work in close collaboration to maximize the attendance of UCSD's 5,000 undergraduate and graduate student engineers and to ensure the satisfaction of recruiters and students alike.
