Based on the theory that conversation is the core of building connections, strengthening community, and learning, World Café is a method for engaging people in conversations that matter. Working in small groups participants will engage in guided discussion on a focused topic. This café will focus on conversations around conflict prevention. A number of local conflict professionals will present on various related topics; including restorative practices and creating a culture of healthy conflict.
Discussion among the large group will be captured by a visual scribe and available for participants to photograph at the end of the event. There will be paper and markers available at each table for small groups to visually scribe their conversations as well.
