Company Officer Leadership Symposium - Level I

Join with the IAFC Foundation, the Southwestern Ohio Fire Chiefs Association and county chiefs’ associations across southern Ohio and northern Kentucky for the IAFC’s Company Officer Leadership Symposium, Level I (COLS I) on September 27-29. 

This program is offered free of charge to members of your department through the generous support of the International Association of Fire Chiefs Foundation and the Motorola Solutions Foundation.

The COLS program is an initiative of International Association of Fire Chiefs and provides company officers with specific leadership training geared toward their department responsibilities. This comprehensive program has set learning objectives, many of which meet the JPRs outlined in NFPA 1021. 

COLS I provides company officers with essential skills to transition into a leadership role. Participants will leave with tools and resources to be successful as a leader in their department and move their organization forward.
