Your trainer, Cindy Calvano, CDT, CD, AAHCC, EBBI, LLLL, MSEd, will take you through a transformative, yummy two-day weekend intensive.  Classes will be held roughly 9 AM - 5:30pm each day.  You'll learn many of the skills necessary to be a compassionate, successful doula, and walk with birthing people on their journey to and through parenthood.  The workshop will include tons of information, videos, hands-on activities, ethics, business tools, and SO much more.


Cindy truly cares about birthing families, evidence based care, and her students- and this is evident in her workshops.  She is earthy, genuine, and has a sense of humor, making workshops with her gentle and dynamic.  You'll spend the weekend with other amazing birthkeepers, and learn not just about being a birth doula, but about yourself. 
 
Our location: Brook Falls Farm in the fall.

Location:  Held at the beautiful Brook Falls Farm, this special weekend will include outdoor sessions by the campfire and waterfall, weather permitting.

Birth Arts International (BAI) was originally founded in 2000 by author, birthkeeper, and Master Herbalist, Demetria Clark, and is considered to be an authentic, holistic doula training organization. Over 20,000 people have trained as BAI doulas, and yet we maintain an intimate one on one student experience. Tree of Life Wellness Services' workshops are designed for aspiring doulas, those looking to re-certify or cross-certify, and anyone else who would like to learn more about helping birthing people during pregnancy, labor, and immediate postpartum.
