We offer one-hour aviary tours every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, with an extra 30 minutes for shopping in our gift shop! During these tours, you will get to learn about parrots and the struggles they face both in captivity and their natural habitats. You will also have the option to do one of the following activities:

  • Give a parrot a spray shower
  • Take a parrot outside on a buggy walk
  • Build a toy with a parrot

*Activity will be selected by your tour guide

Our tours must be booked in advance and have a capacity of 10 people. This allows us to prioritize the safety and happiness of both the parrots and our guests! Parrot Partners utilizes tours to socialize, rehabilitate, and help train our parrots, while also educating the public and providing a fun experience for our guests.

Things to consider before booking:

  • We cannot accept walk-ins; tours must be scheduled in advance
  • Please bring your ticket(s) on the day of the tour
  • Please refrain from wearing open-toed shoes, loose jewelry, and heavy scents
  • Parrots are quite loud and may cause discomfort for those with extreme noise sensitivity (earplugs and earmuffs can be provided)
  • We are NOT a nut-free facility
  • Parrots produce dust from their feathers and this may irritate those with allergies

Refunds

  • 50% of your ticket will be refunded upon request (the remainder helps cover EventZilla and PayPal Processing and Return fees)
  • You may also rebook within a year of your original purchase date without additional fees

Parrot Partners is the only rehabilitation program for Parrots in Canada that combines professional training, education, and rehabilitation in the charitable service of relinquished and misunderstood parrots. Until now, this caliber of service has been reserved for parrots in commercial settings such as zoos, theme parks, and cruise lines. We are the only charity offering a "bird's eye view" into the complexities and challenges of parrot ownership as well as the threats that parrots face in their natural habitat.
